Harness your strength and flexibility in this series designed to help bigger-bodied yogis build a regular yoga practice in a safe, body-positive environment. We’ll build our practice from the ground up, exploring standing poses, backbends, forward folds, and twists with the bigger body in mind, and building up to inversions. We’ll pay special attention to the work of the feet, abdomen, and pelvis, as well as ayruvedic ideas about strength and how to use foundation and space so that you can find your best practice. 

People of all levels and abilities are welcome; no previous yoga experience is required. Drop-in rates available.

This workshop is open to both students and teachers of yoga. CE credits available through Yoga Alliance.
